Experience David Gluck counsels a diverse group of businesses and not-for-profit organizations. In the business area, he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other significant business agreements. He also advises closely-held companies on ownership succession and related planning matters. In the not-for-profit area, he acts both as general counsel to local and national organizations and as special counsel on organizational and governance restructurings and transactional matters. In his business practice, Mr. Gluck counsels businesses in mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and other business agreements and contracts, as well as corporate, tax and business succession planning. As both general counsel and special counsel on major transactions, he represents middle-market closely-held companies in diverse industries, including advertising/marketing, telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution, high-tech and professional services. In his not-for-profit organization practice, Mr. Gluck represents a variety of not-for-profit and charitable organizations involved in theatre, medical research, preservation, higher education, food/agriculture, housing/residential services and other areas. He advises these organizations regarding their formation and tax exempt status, reorganizations, general business, transactional and corporate governance matters. Mr. Gluck also represents a number of cooperative housing corporations, providing advice with respect to a variety of organizational, operational and governance issues. During law school, Mr. Gluck was a member of the National Moot Court Team. Prior to entering law school, he worked for Price Waterhouse & Co. in New York City, and became licensed as a certified public accountant.
